An integrated nursing home supported by psychological, social, and physical health aging for the elderly in Qatar.
Problem?
Psychological health and its effects in interior spaces are unknown here in the Qatari culture. The elderly would get affected psychologically when they lose their social life, their activities, and their hobbies, therefore, their physical health will be affected when their psychological health gets affected. Al Takamul Care Center provides an environment that will affect the elderly psychologically and physically.

Forest Concept Analysis
The concept is the forest structure, which is inspired from the site, AlMessila site was a forest originally. It started by tracing and analyzing the tree's movement and transition. Three groups were analyzed based on the density of the trees. Density represents public areas, Mid density represent semi public areas, Low density represent private areas. By biomimicry of the forest was shown through transition between spaces that were organically organized.
Site Analysis
The space planning is based on the concept of sociability and density of the forest, making the space sociable is by creating the public areas as the focal point of the plan. Providing natural light to high-density areas is essential to make it more sociable through the energy of a bright welcoming space.

The uneven interior leveling concept came from the uneven elevation leveling of the forest structure trees.
Design Stage
Curved Wall Benchs
The wall custom-designed curves represent the aesthetic of the organic line transformation of the forest trees leveling, and the functional part is by the cab between each layer to let the light pass through and enter the spaces around.
